Career Services
Sandersville
Technical College provides career services for all students
and graduates. The Dean of Student Affairs has
the primary responsibility for coordinating career services
and placement; however, STC administrators, Student Affairs
and instructional staff, and the student or graduate play
key roles in career planning and placement. The Dean
of Student Affairs also maintains regular contact with
community employers to stay informed of area job opportunities.
Employers
are invited to contact the Dean of Student Affairs for assistance with
recruitment of qualified students and graduates.
Office Hours & Location
The
Career Services office is located in the Student Affairs Office
of the Main Campus in Sandersville, Room 204B. Office hours
are as follows:
Monday
- Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Friday 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

opportunities in their programs of instruction.

Sandersville Technical College holds its Annual
Career Fair each spring. Area employers will be invited
to meet STC's job seeking students and graduates to
assist them in filling their job vacancies.

Employers are invited to use STC's facilities
for on-campus individualized recruitment. Please call
the Dean of Student Affairs to schedule a date.
Non-Traditional Career Choices
Sandersville
Technical College supports and assists women and men pursuing
a non-traditional Associate Degree, Technical Diploma or
a Technical Certificate of Credit. Non-traditional occupations
are defined as occupations that have less than 25% of one
gender employed in the workforce.
