Sandersville Tech adult literacy students give thanks this year
I am thankful for my dad. My dad means the world to me. I haven't seen my father in a while but I think about him every day and miss him very much. My dad did a great job of raising me. I feel blessed to have a father because some kids don't have a good father and some don't have a father at all. I want the world to know that I am thankful and love my father very much.

During this time of year a lot has come to pass,
Coming together is what families do best,
Laughter and joy fills the hearts,
Being thankful isn't just for a season,
So be thankful every day that you are blessed.

I am thankful for family and friends whom I love very much. We're all truly blessed in America to have the freedom of worship and prayer. To be blessed, I feel you have to forgive others and love your neighbors. I am also thankful for my teacher, classmates, and the entire school. My hope is that everyone will be blessed throughout this holiday season.

I am thankful to be alive and well in spirit. I am thankful to have a peace of mind. I don't worry about what might happen tomorrow. I just live one day at a time for I realize that tomorrow will take care of itself. I am thankful for waking each morning and realizing that all my children are doing fine. Even though I don't have a job, I am blessed to have food, clothing and shelter. As I look back over the years, I can say I've truly been blessed.

Thanksgiving is a time when you sit around with your family and friends and have a wonderful time and meal. When I'm around my family and friends on Thanksgiving Day, I am thankful for all the good times we've had together laughing and playing. I look forward to another Thanksgiving this year.
