Bennett Building Systems Announces Quick Start Training Initiative

Tennille, GA, Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 10am (Training Agreement Signing Ceremony)

Bennett International Group, LLC, has been an acknowledged leader in the trucking and transportation industry for over 30 years and is proud to announce their latest business addition, Bennett Building Systems (BBS). BBS will manufacture and distribute quality personal storage buildings from their new 60,000 square foot facility in Tennille, GA. The new company expects to begin hiring and production in early 2008.

Quick Start is Georgia's internationally acclaimed economic development program that provides customized workforce training at no cost to qualified new, expanding and existing businesses in Georgia. Since 1967, Quick Start has trained more than 600,000 employees through 5,100 projects with a broad range of industries.

The Quick Start training agreement was developed based on a Project Study that was conducted with Bennett Building Systems personnel. The training agreement is based on Bennett Building Systems' commitment to provide approximately 150 new jobs for Georgians in the Tennille, Georgia area. Quick Start will be designing and development training material, as well as providing instructors for the classes.

The training program involves three distinct partners: Bennett Building Systems, Sandersville Technical College and Quick Start. Each partner will be responsible for the successful completion of this program. The partnership will not end when the Quick Start training is completed. Sandersville Technical College will be available to assist Bennett Building Systems with ongoing training programs.

Dr. Lloyd Horadan, President of Sandersville Technical College, explained, "The three-way partnership provides an excellent opportunity to provide construction related employment opportunities to workers in the area's construction workforce. Additionally, our partnership with BBS and Quick Start will allow students in our construction programs an opportunity to become valued employees for BBS while using their newly obtained skills." Construction programs taught by Sandersville Tech are covered by HOPE for eligible recipients. Sandersville Technical College was the host location for the BBS Job Fair on November 5, and will also be the application and interview location during the initial phase of hiring.

Mr. Danny Lowry, President, stated that BBS is excited about this business growth opportunity in the Tennille area. BBS plans to take an active part in the entire Washington County area by not only helping our future employees and their families but by helping all the citizens of Washington County. BBSW is looking forward to utilizing the people development potential of our partners, Georgia Quick Start and Sandersville Technical College.
