STC Celebrates Freedom Week
Sandersville Technical College’s Student Government Association (SGA) celebrated Freedom Week by recognizing all veteran and active duty military, guard, and reserve students and staff from the Sandersville Campus, the Jefferson County Center, and the Hancock County Center. Thirty-three individuals at STC were given a gift by SGA to show appreciation for their service and sacrifices for our country.
“America’s White Table” was also on display in the STC Atrium which honored the men and women who serve in America’s Armed Forces, especially those missing in action and held as prisoners of war.
“We are honored to recognize and assist our students and staff who serve our country. This gives the rest of the College the opportunity to thank them and for other students to better understand the value of work ethics, responsibility, and respect,” says STC Director of Student Services Johnnie Edge.
