Glascock County GED students tour the STC Jefferson County Center with
Adult Literacy Instructor Marilyn McNair, Adult Literacy Director Saketha
Adams, and STC Jefferson County Center Director Matthew Hodges.
The students were given a tour of the facility, and instructors talked to them about specific programs that the Campus had available. Students toured the Welding Lab, Nursing Lab, and the Computer Lab. Students also had the opportunity to complete applications for admission and financial aid.
These students were interested in STC’s Jefferson County Center in Louisville because it was close to their homes in the Gibson area.
"This is great that STC has a campus so close to my house," said one of the students interested in Early Childhood. "I live right there on the Jefferson County and Glascock County line, and it is closer for me to travel to this Center than to Sandersville or Thomson."
The STC Jefferson County Center in Louisville provides convenient access to quality education for both Jefferson and Glascock County residents. “The College works very hard to ensure that students find the education and assistance they need where they need it,” states STC’s Jefferson County Center Director Matthew Hodges.
