MBA's Now Available in Sandersville

Georgia College & State University has been approved to offer a master of business administration in Sandersville.

The Board of Regents, which oversees the state's 35 public colleges and universities, voted to approved the degree at its Tuesday meeting in Atlanta.

The initial class is expected to have 18 to 22 students and is being looked at as a one-time opportunity, according to University System of Georgia documents.

Georgia College faculty from the Milledgeville campus will teach the classes, which will be held at Sandersville Technical College.

Georgia College found support for an MBA program there after it looked into the possibility of offering one at the request of community leaders.
