Area Students PROBE College Choices at STC
Over 300 area junior and senior high school students from Washington, Hancock, and Glascock counties “toured” 46 colleges from the state of Georgia and the United States at the PROBE College Fair this past Friday at Sandersville Technical College.

In addition to Sandersville Technical College, colleges like the University of Georgia, Georgia Southern University, Valdosta State University, Savannah College of Art & Design, and many more were in attendance.
“Most students visit a couple of colleges that interest them but never have the chance to see this many colleges or such variety in one place,” says Michelle Strickland, the ECP Coordinator at Sandersville Tech. “The PROBE fair allowed the students to see the breadth of opportunities available to them and act on those that interested them.”
The PROBE tour travels around the state of Georgia from September to November every year and provides the opportunity for students and parents to speak with over college representatives as well as representatives from the Georgia Student Finance Commission.
