Basic Shielded Metal Arc Welding

This program is available to second year welding students that have already completed the Wire Welding TCC.
Courses transfer into the Welding and Joining Technology diploma.

Carpenter's Assistant

The Carpenter’s Assistant program prepares students for careers in the carpentry field.  Students must articulate IFC 100.

Certified Nurse Assisting Certificate (CNA)

The Certified Nurse Assisting (Aide) Certificate prepares the graduate to administer basic, therapeutic, rehabilitative, and preventative care to acutely and chronically ill and convalescing patients in a vareity of settings.Additional funds and class time are required for this certificate.

Requires 1 year to complete [two 50-minute or one 1.5-hour period(s). If 1.5 hour period is used CNS 108 or AHS 109 must be articulated.]. Available for students in Glascock, Hancock, Jefferson, and Washington County high schools. COURSE LISTING

Electrician's Assistant

The Electrician’s Assistant Certificate prepares students for careers in the electrical field.  Students must articulate IFC 100.

Gas Metal Arc Welding Technician Certificate

The Gas Metal Arc Welding Technician certificate program is designed to prepare students for careers in gas metal arc welding. The courses transfer into the Welding and Joining diploma program.

Industrial Construction I

The Industrial Construction I Certificate prepares students for entry level careers in the carpentry field.  The courses are a prerequisite for participation in the Industrial Construction II program. Students must articulate IFC 100.

Infant & Toddler Care Specialist

The Infant & Toddler Care Specialist program provides the graduate the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and techniques that will improve the quality of care for Georgia's infants and toddlers.

The courses transfer into the Early Childhood Care and Education diploma and degree programs.

Microsoft Office Application Specialist

The Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certificates prepare students to take Microsoft's nationally recognized test for certification.

In addition, course within each of these certificate programs transfer into additional Computer Information Systems (CIS) certificate programs and the diploma and degree programs.

Video Production Specialist

The Interactive Video Production certificate trains students for jobs in digital video/audio record.

Web Site Fundamentals Certificate

The Web Site Fundamentals Certificate provides students wiht a basic knowldge of Internet technologies, Web authoring, and the infrastructure of networking.

In addition, the program prepares students for nationally recognized Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) Associate certification . CIW Associate certification is required to qualify for all CIW Professional and Master CIW certifications.
