Rotaract Club at STC

In partnership with the Sandersville Rotary Club, Sandersville Technical College is chartering a new service organization for enrolled students called ROTARACT.

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women that are sponsored by a local Rotary club making them true "partners in service" and key members of the Rotary family.

How can I join a Rotaract club?
Begin by contacting Amanda Terry or Diane Payne about STC's meeting location, dates, and times.

As one of the most significant and fastest-growing programs of Rotary service, with more than 8,000 Rotaract clubs in some 155 countries and geographic areas, Rotaract has become a worldwide phenomenon.

What exactly does a Rotaract club do?
Rotaract clubs organize a variety of projects and activities, depending on the interests of the club members. However, three main areas of focus include professional development, leadership development, and service projects (both locally and internationally). Together, these areas ensure clubs have a balanced service program while providing opportunities for the personal development. It is important to remember that Rotaract, like Rotary, is diverse, and each club acquires unique qualities, depending where in the world it is established.

Through the Rotaract program, young adults not only augment their knowledge and skills, but they also address the physical and social needs of their communities while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.
