Welcome to the STC Library!

The library/media center is organized to provide accessibility and optimum service to students and staff. Training is available in the use of media resources and equipment and focuses on the development of skills and attitudes necessary to provide lifelong learning.

Mission Statement

The Sandersville Technical College Library supports and enhances the mission of the college by providing its students, faculty and staff with learning resources and services that support and improve instructional programs and further the overall professional development and life-long learning of the citizens of the College’s five county service area.

Borrowing Policies

• Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to check out materials from the library.
• Books are checked out for a two week period and may be renewed if not requested by another student.
• Faculty may check out materials for a month. All materials are due the last week of the quarter.
• If books have been damaged or lost, students will not receive grades and /or transcripts for quarter until book fees are paid.
• Reference materials such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, videotapes, periodicals and other general reference resources cannot be checked out. Students may view videos in the library; only faculty and staff may check out videos.
