      Schedule Notes:

  1. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES. If classes are full please call Amanda Terry at 478-553-2149 for additional scheduling.

  2. Every Mine Operator & Contractor must have at least 1 person per shift or per crew who is Medic First Aid and CPR Certified!

  3. A Part 46 or Part 48 Training Plan is required prior to attendance of any Mine Saftey Class.

  4. Your Annual Refresher is due each year before the end of the month that you were trained in last year.

  5. Class prices are per participant and pre-registration is required.

  6. All classes begin at 8:00 am unless otherwise noted.

  7. Please note there are some changes to our classes and how they will be offered. We will no longer offer the Medic First Aid Basic (6hr) and the Refresher (4hr) together. We will be offering 6 AHA First Aid/CPR classes during the year. Also, we will offer 2 Annual Refresher a month during the months listed above. If you have any questions about the changes to our schedule, please contact Amanda Terry.

MSHA Mine Safety Training Registration

You must have a Part 47 Haz Com Program as part of your MSHA Training Plan. You may be required to have your employees enrolled in a Hearing Conservation Program under Part 62 requirements. Contact

OSHA Occupation Safety Training

10 Hour General Industry Outreach Training Program
This program is intended to provide entry level general industry workers broad awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a general industry site. The training covers a variety of safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a general industry site. OSHA recommends this training as an orientation to occupational safety and health.

30 Hour General Industry Outreach Training Program
This program is intended to provide a variety of training to people with some safety responsiblity.

  2. Classes will be conducted by Authorized Trainer Denise Parker.

  3. Students will receive course completion cards.
