Welcome to Sandersville Tech and the fall edition of our Fall Line Connector where our students are experiencing personally that they can earn more as they learn more!

Sandersville Technical College is excited about the growth that is being experienced in the five county service areas. There is growth from the industry sector, growth in the population, growth in the school systems and growth at STC. As a college we realize that each area of growth depends on the other for survival like a continuous educational chain in circular motion. New population brings a demand for new jobs and more instructors in the schools, new industry provides jobs, but industry needs qualified people to employ. This is where Sandersville Technical College fits in the circle. We are the “nourishment” that will be essential to compete for the jobs not only of today, but also of tomorrow.

Across the board Sandersville Tech is experiencing growth. This growth is an indication of the value people have once again placed on education. Our adult literacy program has grown by leaps and bounds, a sign that more and more people who do not have a high school diploma have discovered the importance of receiving a GED. They have realized that in order to obtain a job in the market today, they must have that certification.

A record number of high school students are enrolling in dual enrollment classes because they understand the importance of attaining applicable workforce skills. Enrollment growth in credit classes is an indication that the public hungers for the tools necessary to earn a better living. All these instances of growth circulate around industry, population, and educational growth.
