Sandersville Technical College can offer you the basic computer skills you need all the way to the advanced networking, hardware and software skills needed by the IT professional. The Microsoft Office Application Specialist Certificate which provides comprehensive skills in the Microsoft Office suite including the 2007 version of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook is an excellent program of study for basic software skills. The Computer Support and Networking diplomas and degrees provide opportunities for the advanced Information Technology Professional. Our labs provide hands-on experience in any area of computer skills.

New Pharmacy Technician Certification Program
Now being offered at Sandersville Technical College is a Pharmacy Technician Certification Program. This comprehensive course will prepare you to enter the pharmacy field and to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s (PTCB) Exam. Through the PTCB program, pharmacy technicians are able to work more effectively with pharmacists to offer better patient care and service.
Topics in this course will include medical terminology specific to the pharmacy, reading and interpreting prescriptions, and defining drugs by generic and brand names. Technicians work in hospitals, home infusion pharmacies, community pharmacies, and other health care settings, working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
