Practical Nursing Holds Perfect Record

Congratulations to the STC Practical Nursing Class of 2008! This class graduated from the Sandersville campus on September 20, 2007. They have a 100% pass rate for their state board examinations and have become Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN).

And it doesn’t stop there. The Practical Nursing program has held the 100% pass rate for state boards for the last 7 years. An accomplishment with this duration is a testament to the Sandersville Technical College Practical Nursing program faculty.

It is their dedication and commitment to caring for the students that instructors Leslie Thigpen, RN, Angela Helton, RN and Peggy Hattaway, RN could sustain such a successful program.

The students will also testify to the standards of excellence that the program and the instructors demand because the students themselves desire to do their best to provide the highest quality of nursing care possible for their patients.

“We are so very proud of our graduates who have excelled in the health care field, become LPN’s, and are performing with the knowledge they have gained in their education at Sandersville Technical College. I am also proud to say that all of these graduates are working in the health care field at present,” said Instructor, Angela Helton.

Health care is one of the fastest growing occupational fields in the country, and you can take your first step into a career that provides care and hope right here in your own community. Call STC today to learn more about the many health care programs available.
