Storytelling Workshop at Sandersville Tech
Every family has at least one great storyteller. Ever wish you were the one? The Hancock County Campus of Sandersville Technical College is offering a workshop to polish storytelling skills. The two-hour class is on September 9th, starting at 6:00 PM.
This workshop encourages tapping the storehouse of "Remember when" stories. The process involved gathering memories, background details, fitting memories and details together, finishing touches and presentation. Each participant will create at least one story.
Jeanette Vaughn Waddell, the workshop leader, brings 10 years of experience as a storytelling and workshop leader. She's conducted workshops for families, childcare providers, self-employed, small businesses and retreats.
Waddell guides participants through the steps for developing family stories that are inspiring and entertaining. Everyone loves a story and will remember the stories long after the family reunion is over.
