2008 Washington County Science Fair Registration
The Georgia Science and Engineer Fair, hosted by Sandersville Technical College, is one of a number of learning experiences that help young people meet the challenges of the future. It provides a stage from which the middle school, junior high, and high school students (grades 6-12) can demonstrate their serious contributions to the advancement of science.
By participating in the fair, students learn how to isolate, attack, and solve important problems, all within the framework of organized, logical thought and study.
Last year was a great Science Fair at STC with students continuing on to the region, state, and even international competitions! As your child begins the new school year, ask your teachers and guidance counselors about the opportunity for your child to participate this year.
Registration is open to any student grades 6 – 12 that is a resident of Washington County.
From the STC Web site’s Science Fair page, you will find important dates, helpful tips, competition guidelines, and all required 2008 forms for your child to enter the competition. www.sandersvilletech.edu/sciencefair.htm
